In the original implementation (1962-1964), designed by Arch. Bruno Morassutti and Ing. Aldo Favini, only local materials were exclusively used:local stone for the walls, the pumice stone to fill the shell and pottery for interior floors.
In the work of restoration, supervised by the Studio Associati PROLAB of Naples and produced by Elimar Building srl., the structural requirements of the original work have been reinterpreted, combining the use of traditional building materials with the use of reinforced concrete, while adopting craft construction techniques.
